The story of Overhead Door Company of Joliet (Formerly Middleton Overhead Doors) begins in 1978 when Mark Middleton, the founder, started the business in a humble two-car garage on Kelly Avenue in Joliet, IL. As time went on and the business flourished, expansion became necessary. In 1984, Mark rented a building on Jefferson Street in Joliet, and to further support the growth, his father, Bill, joined the company to assist with sales.
